it has been a while since I updated my blog. Hopefully it will be completely updated by the end of the month.
Anyways my journey home started monday morning at 10:15 Australian time and finished at about 8:30pm tuesday night.
Miss jodi drive us, mr josh, mr john and myelf, to the bus stop in another city. We caught the bus from there to the airport. I said good bye to john and josh on the bus because we were going to different terminals. i had to wait about 4 hours or so before i could check in. I looked around the shops and had lunch. eventually it was time to check in and after i checked in i found Nicole. We went through security, did some shopping and i walked her to her gate. i then did some more shopping as i walked to my gate.
On the flight i had 4 seats to myself that i could spread out on. i tried getting some sleep but just as i did we hit some pretty back turbulance and it woke me up. i may have slept for n hour on the plane.
i get to the gold coast, and wait for my bus to get me to the train station. as i am waiting for the train i find out that my friend that i was hoping to meet up with had an exam and couldn't be there. i stopped at roma st for about an hour before continuing on to the airport in brisbane. i had quiet a far bit of time to kill at the airport. i boarded my flight and about half way through the flight the plane got turned around. we landed back in Brisbane. i had to wait another hour or so before i could get on another flight back to Rockhampton. All up i took a car then bus then plane then bus then train then train then plane then plane to gt back to rocky. Departed Karuizawa 10:15 am monday arrive Rockhampton 8:30pm tuesday night. 34 hrs to get home in total. long trip.

Candle light dinner
In week 8 i believe, Miss June, 3 students and myself went to a 2nd hand store for an outing on saturday. We knew we were going to be late getting back so we called the school to let them know that we would like some dinner saved for us. What we didn't expect was for Mr Tobi and 4 male students to serve us a candle light dinner for us in the dinning room. The guys had either fake paper moes or bow ties on. They were all so cute all dressed up smart. Jim one of the students came out and served me my plate saying it was a special one. My rice was in the shape of a heart. How cute but i still don't know who made that special plate. :S. It was an interesting meal.
Week 9
So what happened in the 1st week of month 3. We started our new classes this week. I have the same reading class and conversation class and a new bible study class. The bible study class is easy as i did that class in month 1. i still had my notes from that month so i am using them so less prep time. My reading class is easy as well it is all sorted for the month. For conversation class, Mr Josh is taking my class of a thursday so i can have the time after lunch until the end of that class for study. I started uni this week. So far so good. I want to pass this time around
This friday night we had the halloween party at the church. I went gothic like or as close to it as i could with the clothes i have here in Japan. It was a fun night. Today i am paying for it thought. I have sore muscles in my legs and shoulders from the games. The students want to play sardines tonight but i don't think i should.
i have been thinking about my next step after SYME a lot lately. I only have 3 more weeks before the term finishes here in japan. I do want to finish 2nd language teaching methodologies this term but i don't want to do my final teaching pracs. i want to focus on getting some money together so i can save up enough to move if need be to Toowoomba to do event management before joining Student Life in Operations, but i need to talk to them first which i will do hopefully in Jan next year.

Week 8 - last week of month 2
Last week of month 2 now. We had a shorter week this week with only 3 days of classes not 4. Monday we went to a street to go to an unique and rare bookstore to find out it was closed. We did go to a few other little store on the street.
Squeezing 4 lessons into 3 was fairly easy. Conversation class we still had about half a lesson to fill in so we ate some food in the lobby. Bible study class was harder but we managed to sqeeze most of it in.
Friday we had a school trip. we went to Kusatsu about 2 hours from School. We went to a lookout to see a green lake. Sulphur makes it look green. i am over the smell of rotten eggs. We also went to an onsen. It was an outside onsen. It was good and the only way it could have been made better was it if was snowing.
it was good to get out and hang out with the students. I enjoyed my time there.
Week 7 - hello 2nd half
We have reached passed the half way mark and going into the home stretch soon. Monday we went to the waterfalls finally. We got lost too but that was just part of the adventure. The falls were so nice that we decided that we would take the students with us.
Classes went as planned this week as far as i can remember. We start week 8 conversation class stuff on friday as we were going to only have 3 more lesson but 4 lessons to teach. it worked out ok.
Saturday we went to 3 different falls with the students. it was fun. We had good weather too. not too cold and a little cloudy. handing out with the students is really fun to do. they can be really crazy at times.
Sunday i went for a walk to find team centre where i stayed for a few nights 2 years ago. i found the Kaufmans house but didn't see the house i stayed at unless i missed it as i went to see the kaufmans house instead of sticking to the main road. Was a good adventure.

Week 6 - the half way mark
Week 6 was crazy. We had a few big days. Classes were the same as usual. friday morning we teamed up with Gideon's to pass out bibles at 2 different local junior high schools in Saku. We handed out about 700 bibles in the few hours we were there. Praise the Lord. Now the students need to read them. We started that day at 5:30am.
Saturday we had the Fall festival at the church. It rained all day but was successful. many people came inside to each American food and sat and chatted with the catering staff which was mostly students from SYME. We had a really good time and it was enjoyed by many people.
When sunday came around i was thankful to have the morning off and spent it reading and watching anime. Josh and Nicole have influenced this. I have no idea why this now has an underline so i am not sure how it fix it.
Other than that the week was normal. Enjoying teaching the bible and English. enjoyed going to gym class and working on bible club. I am thankful that i am here.

Tokyo here i come
Well Mr josh and I here we come. We headed to the big smoke friday afternoon by bus. that was a long bus ride. The we had to use the train system in Tokyo to get to Yokohama and Fujisawa. That took a lot of thinking on a tired mind.
We finally reached our destination to meet up with my friend Cuyler. Let the adventure begin!
So Friday night was a some what late night, I believe we saw 3 am. So i guess i should call it an early morning. Well anyways. We stayed up late watching movies after we had spent some time at the pub with Cuyler and his mates and them and Josh as we went to his.
Saturday morning was a late start. Cuyler had to go to school for a sports festival, the kids really wanted him there, but he didn't need to be there for it. I got myself back to the station, Cuyler was quiet impressed with how much of the direction i could actually remember. I met up with Josh and we headed to Kamakura.
We got the train to Kamakura and walked maybe 2 km to a temple, then walked back to the station to see where the temple i actually wanted to go to was and walked another 4km or so to that one including back. We still had some time up our sleeve so we decided to hit another town on the train line.
We decided to go to Enoshima. Very nice walk. So many stairs but so worth the view and entertainment. We got there to see Taiko drumming and juggling. It was so amazing. After walking back to the station we met up with Cuyler again in Fujisawa.
So Fujisawa what have you got to offer? It is quiet small but it was good. More walking though. I'm really feeling it now. We then all headed back to Cuyler's place. watched 2 movies then the boys started playing video games. Josh was meant to go to Cuyler's friends again but he never got back to Cuyler. The boys were up until about 1am.
So Sunday morning i didn't exactly have the nicest wake up call. I may have been awake already I'm not sure. I heard noises from Cuyler's bed and see him having an Epileptic fit. great... what do i do?...... Is he still breathing?... yeah he seems ok. About 30 min or more later he has another one. This time i know he know i saw him have it. He seemed ok again. This probably happened about 4 times i think.
8:45 am Cuyler gets a phone call... his friend that was hosting Josh lost his wallet in Tokyo. He was still in Tokyo. All of Josh's stuff was at his. lucky the room mate was there, we were able to get Josh's stuff.
Oh no we are going to be late now for meeting up with our friends for lunch.. No we made it on time and were waiting for them instead. We all meet, have a fantastic lunch together, followed by Purikura. Was great seeing them again. The uni students had to go home to study more but the American, theAussie and the half Aussie/Kiwi hit the town with our Japanese tour guide and had fun in Akiba.
We had so much fun that we nearly missed our bus home to Karuizawa. I am glad that Madoka is a fast runner, even in heals. Very impressed.
And that is where this novel sized entry ends.
